Privacy policy

Last updated 26 September 2026

We collect very little, because this is a football statistics tool rather than a social product.

Who we are

BiasedSheet is part of the Biased Tactics brand, and we are the data controller for the personal data described here.

For any privacy question, or to use the rights below, email [email protected].

What we collect

Access is controlled by an access code, tied to your Fancy A Shot membership, rather than an account you create here.

We do not ask for your name or your email to browse, and we hold no user profile for you.

We run no analytics, no advertising cookies and no session recording, so nothing here tracks you across other sites.

We sell data to nobody.

There is no consent banner because we set no cookies that are not essential.

See the cookie policy for the detail.

Data markers

Data delivered through the service may carry a marker derived from the access it was served under.

It exists to trace redistribution, and it is never used to track your behaviour, profile you or target anything at you.

We rely on our legitimate interest in protecting licensed data and our own work.

If we ever investigate a leak, the marker tells us which access a copy came from.

Football data is not personal data about you

Most of what BiasedSheet stores is football data: fixtures, teams, players, match events and betting odds.

That concerns professional footballers acting in public, and it reaches us under licence.

None of it is collected about you or linked to your use of the site.

Who processes it for us

We use a small number of providers to run the service. Each acts as a processor under contract and may only use data to provide their service to us.

  • Supabase, for the database that stores football data and site records
  • Our hosting provider, for serving this website and keeping server logs

The site is worldwide, so data may be processed outside your country, including the UK, the EEA and the United States.

Those transfers are covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.

How long we keep it

The access cookie lasts 30 days, and clearing your browser storage removes it sooner.

Server logs are kept for a short operating period and then discarded.

Saved views and preferences are kept until you delete them or ask us to.

Email you send us is kept as long as the matter needs, and a reasonable period afterwards.

Your rights

We give everyone the same rights wherever you live, not just the ones your local law forces on us.

You have the right to:

  • Ask for a copy of any personal data we hold about you
  • Have inaccurate data corrected
  • Have your data deleted, subject to the periods above
  • Object to or restrict how we use your data
  • Receive your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent
  • Not be discriminated against for using any of these rights

Email [email protected] and we will respond within one month, at no cost and with no need to explain why.

UK and EEA. These rights come from the UK and EU GDPR, and you can complain to your national data protection authority if our response is not good enough.

In the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. In the EEA, find yours through the European Data Protection Board.

United States. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with privacy laws have rights to know, delete, correct and opt out.

We sell no personal data and share none for cross-context advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of, but the same email handles any request.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS.

The access cookie stores a salted hash of the code rather than the code itself, and is HttpOnly so scripts cannot read it.

No system is perfect, so if a breach ever puts your rights at risk we will tell you and the relevant regulator without undue delay.

Under 18s

This service is for adults, so you must be 18 or the legal gambling age where you live, which is 21 in some US states.

We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor is using the service, tell us and we will act.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If we ever start collecting more than we do now, for example by adding accounts or analytics, we will say so here before it begins.
